Master Bedroom & Bathroom Remodel
The Project
This homeowner wanted to remodel both the master bedroom and bathroom. Her concerns were these; the flooring, trim and the fireplace were dated in the bedroom. She wanted to not only update but have a warm feel.
Project Solution
The plan: Remove the oak mantle and dated ceramic tiles. Remove all window, baseboards,doors and casings. Eliminate door to bathroom completely, widen, raise and add a radiused opening with bullnose corner bead. Replace carpeting with Acacia wood flooring, install a new textured tile around fireplace and using bar wood, create a new fireplace surround and mantle. Change out the dated double entry doors to glass using a dark stain on door and Autumn glass.
